Each year the Pinckneyville Chamber of Commerce along with the guidance counselors office at PCHS organize and host a career buffet for 8th grade-junior year students. Students are broken into equal groups and spend the morning rotating in between different career classrooms.
The Pinckneyville Chamber of Commerce hosts a city council candidate forum each election year. Each candidate running for a position on the Pinckneyville City Council is invited to attend. Questions for the forum are submitted by the public. This forum is open to the public and will be held at The Pinckneyville Community High School in the cafetorium area at 6:00pm. The entire event is timed out and will not last longer than 90 minutes.
