Each year the Pinckneyville Chamber of Commerce along with the guidance counselors office at PCHS organize and host a career buffet for 8th grade-junior year students. Students are broken into equal groups and spend the morning rotating in between different career classrooms.

The Pinckneyville Chamber of Commerce hosts a city council candidate forum each election year. Each candidate running for a position on the Pinckneyville City Council is invited to attend. Questions for the forum are submitted by the public. This forum is open to the public and will be held at The Pinckneyville Community High School in the cafetorium area at 6:00pm. The entire event is timed out and will not last longer than 90 minutes.

Due to increase chance of cold & windy temperatures on Saturday December 10th, 2016, Santa will be located at the Pinckneyville Fire Station 110 S Walnut Street from 11:00-1:00 instead of riding around on the fire truck. Please make plans to come by the Pinckneyville Fire Station to see Santa and have cookies and punch and get a sweet treat from Santa, Mrs. Clause, and his Elf’s. The Pinckneyville Police Department, Pinckneyville Fire Department & Pinckneyville Ambulance Service along with all affiliated with Family Night in the Park look forward to seeing everyone this Saturday.

* Registration deadline is 12/15 at NOON.
* Business entries do not have to be Chamber members.
* Home entries must be within 5 miles of city limits.
* Judging is based on decorations visible outside only.
* By registering you give consent for your business/home to be publicized in the local media.
*The Chamber of Commerce nor any of our affiliates, directors, or volunteers will be liable for losses or injuries arising out of or in connection with this contest.
This year all entries will be photographed on December 15th and placed on an independent on-line voting site (not facebook). The top three entries from each category will be judged by our 2015 Mardi Gras Queen, Samantha Steely on December 22nd. She will award 1st, 2nd, & 3rd prizes.
